The Mark 7 self supported pleated filter has a MERV 7 rating. The filter is made of 100% synthetic media. The media pack is contained in a single piece beverage board. Self-supported Mark 7 filters eliminate the need for a metal backing to shape the pleats. They are fully incinerable, simplifying disposal.

The hi-E 40 is a medium efficiency, self-supported extended surface, pleated filter, available in 1", 2" or 4" depths and several standard face sizes to accommodate most system requirements. The lofted, non-woven media composed of non-dyed natural cotton and synthetic fibers provides 25-30% average efficiency and 90-93% average arrestance. The hi-E 40 is effective as a stand-alone filter or prefilter. UL Class 2.
